Today’s wiretapping devices can be mains-powered, eliminating the need for frequent battery replacements, and their duration depends on the type of technology and power supply. They can also use software to spy on mobile devices, collecting data without the user’s knowledge.

Eavesdropping detection typically takes between 2 and 4 hours for every 100 m² of space. This time may vary depending on the complexity of the facility and availability. Inspection of mobile devices can take anywhere from one hour to several days, depending on the type of equipment and programmes installed.
